The effects of our activities on environment are evaluated, improved and reported along with environmental legal obligations. Sustainability committee together with all departments operates activities within systematic structure. Our products and services are developed according to their effects on environment throughout their life cycle. About global heating and climate change, we operate activities to decrease carbon footprint and related improvements from green energy to waste recycling and water consumption.
From the first day, we put human beings to our focus of activities and we prepare plans for stable growth with respect to sustainability, climate & environment friendly approach. We consistently follow our sustainability strategies, which have direct effect on 11 items of United Nations Sustainable Growth Targets.

SUSTAINABILITY AT ALUMINIUM
Due to its structural properties such as lightness, strength, conductivity, reflectivity, shapebility, aluminium was a reason of choice from aerospace to food industry from construction to renewable energy and due to its 100% recyclability, aluminium supports sustainable resources.
- 8% of earth is composed of aluminium along with other resources, therefore supply of aluminium is considered as unlimited.
- Aluminium is light. Due this reason, aluminium decreases cost of production and transportation and energy consumption.
- As compared to its weight, aluminium is a strong and trustworthy material, as much as corrosion resistant.
- Aluminium which is non-toxic and odorless, is used at various kitchenware and food packaging applications without any stickness to food.
- Aluminium is an excellent heat and electric conductive material, together with its lightweight structure it is a more effective wire material as compared to copper. Furthermore, aluminium is used as cooling systems at many applications such as LED lights, computer main boards and electrical products.
- Aluminium reflects approximately 92% of visible light and 98% or infrared lights. As a reflector, aluminium is the best material solution used at many applications from blanket production to lighting products.
SUSTAINABILITY AT FOOD
Packing materials are 100% recycleable.
- We support sustainable agricultural activities and work with local farmers in order to be able to get necessary resources.
- With the approach of “From producer to table”, as a company which acts within legal standarts, we have FDA, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, Vegan, Gluten Free, Helal, Gmp and Ghp certificates.
- We know the importance of food contact packaging and work for recycleable packaging materials for a better world.
- We support food waste preventing policies in our supply chain and work hard to decrease food waste.
SUSTAINABILITY AT ENERGY
We have medical waste disposal and solid waste integrated plants at different locations and we contribute a better environment for current and new generations. Moreover our activities protects ecosystem and natural resources.
Our solid waste disposal plants are located in Van, Tekirdağ and Çorlu. We supply electricity of 277.076 houses from our plants. We prevent greenhouse gas by consuming 16.446 tonnes/month of methane for energy supply.
SUSTAINABILITY AT MINING
We operate sustainable mining activities and at the same time pay attention to environment and social responsibilites. Bauxite is raw material of aluminium, which has endless applications and which is 100% recycleable.
